My service on The Woodlands Community Association (WCA) Board of Directors for five years has seen some landmark accomplishments for The Woodlands community; however, there are even more important issues still to be resolved for The Woodlands to complete the transition to a new district in a cost effective way. We are all concerned about governance, security and future property taxes. With my past experience as Director, I can best serve the residents as we address these important issues.
My stand on these local issues may be summarized in the following:
- Local Governance - Aggressively implement the local governance transition plan.
- Improve Security - Insure that the security improvements meet our needs.
- Continue to reduce taxes - Efficient and cost effective government services.
This past year, I was honored to serve on the Board as first Vice President for the Woodlands Community Association (WCA), as Treasurer for the Woodlands Community Service Corporation (WCSC) and as Treasurer of the Woodlands Fire Department (WFD). I have served on the WCA Board Operations and Finance Committees as well as the Budget committee.
I am proud to have served as an at-large WCA Director representing the residents of Grogan’s Mill, Panther Creek, Cochran’s Crossing and Indian Springs. I have faithfully served for the past five years, and I would be honored to continue to represent the entire Woodlands in the future as one of your Township Directors.
